The Western Toad is one of the more common western toads in that it is found from southern Alaska down to northern Baja California. Though the toad may be common it's common name can be a bit harder to pin down given some call this the Boreal Toad while others call it the California Toad. Whatever you call this wonderful little bug eater be sparing with the pesticides and fertilizers as both harm this toad.
