Texas Brown Snake
Though seldom seen the Texas Brown Snake is a relatively common snake in it's home range, which includes more area than Texas! This small species eats earthworms and slugs and is fairly common where it's prey abounds, such as home gardens. Given it's small size, about a foot long, and it's diet, why not let this little snake go it's way the next time you run across one?!
