Bulls, Hard Antlered, Bedded
A bedded bull Moose is only a bit less majestic than when standing; each one of them still stop me in my tracks. Bedded bulls are fairly easy to approach, especially inside the Anchorage Bowl during the rut! But don't let that easy going demeanor full you. If you get too close to an agitated bull they will be upon you with the speed of a Quarterhorse!

This bull Moose was sleeping so soundly, and so noisily, two different cows approached him. Both were very curious as to his condition. Both walked tentatively up to him and sniffed him as he slept. Then the cows went after each other, standing on their hind legs slashing at each other!
