A bedded bull Moose is only a bit less majestic than when standing; each one of them still stop me in my tracks. Bedded bulls are fairly easy to approach, especially inside the Anchorage Bowl during the rut! But don't let that easy going demeanor full you. If you get too close to an agitated bull they will be upon you with the speed of a Quarterhorse!

Though most of us expect to see color when looking at a Moose it doesn't hurt to see one as they see themselves, in shades of grays.
