Bulls, Hard Antlered, Standing
Bull Moose are a "common" animal to many of us Alaskans; but common or not, they never fail to stop me in my tracks. The mature bulls are huge, especially when they are in their prime. Ungainly looking, yet they move with an incredible grace belying their bulk. Dim looking (with those small eyes), yet they manage to make themselves scarce instantly whenever something is looking for Moose steaks! One can't help but admire them.
