John Oppenheimer is the third generation owner of this south Texas ranch, which is located just outside Pearsall, Texas. He grows cattle, oats, and wildlife on his 10,000 acres. John grants access, on the weekends only, to a lucky few. That's right, the animals have the place all to themselves Monday through Friday. In just two weekends we saw Armadillos, Bobcats, Cardinals, Coyotes, Crested Cara-caras, Green Jays, Javelinas, Mockingbirds, Vermillon Flycatchers, and of course...White-tailed Deer. John has a fantastic piece of south Texas, and he plans on keeping it that way! Thank you John!
