Coues Whitetail Deer of Arizona, Does
I photographed these Coues White-tailed Deer at the mouth of Madera Canyon in southern Arizona. They are tough to spot, and even tougher to photograph well. Given that I did not "photograph well" while I was there, it's back to Arizona to give it another go!

The Coues White-tailed Deer is a little thing, compared to the northern races of White-tailed Deer. By little I mean the average doe (female) weighs but 65 pounds!
