Grizzly Bears of Alaska's Denali National Park
There's nothing that catches someone's attention quicker than the sharp, forcibly hissed word, "GRIZZLY!". No matter how many times one sees these creatures, you are forced, literally, to stop and stare...while glancing sideways for a safe spot. Everything about them screams "I am wild!". For me, and I suspect many others, we are more jealous of that wildness, than we are afraid of them!

Digging for roots in a snow squall.
I filmed this Interior Grizzly Bear as it dug for roots during a snow storm in Denali National Park, a storm which closed the park down from Mile 60 onward! Forgive the poor quality but my fingers were frozen and the wind was whipping me and my camera about!
