Grizzly Bears of Alaska's Denali National Park
There's nothing that catches someone's attention quicker than the sharp, forcibly hissed word, "GRIZZLY!". No matter how many times one sees these creatures, you are forced, literally, to stop and stare...while glancing sideways for a safe spot. Everything about them screams "I am wild!". For me, and I suspect many others, we are more jealous of that wildness, than we are afraid of them!

This young Grizzly was pulled away from it's feast of High Bush Cranberries by it's desire to follow it's mother, who was climbing a cut bank at the time.
