Black Bears - Cubs
North America's Black Bears can be found through most of well...North America! Their widespread range is a result of their tenacity; their ability to make a living from the deserts of the southwest to the tundra of the far north. And though they are common in many parts of North America, I find them anything but common. I can watch their antics for hours, especially the cubs. Older bears are interesting, but the young bears are a hoot. They can get into trouble in a split second, and it usually goes from bad to worse!
