Wilson's Warbler
Wilson's Warblers are the busy-bodies of the thickets. Feeding in loose flocks they are everywhere in a grove of trees; top, bottom, outside...everywhere. I can't help but think they expend more energy bouncing about than they gain in the insects they eat. Then again all that fluttering about may be a tactic to flush insects out of hiding!

Though it looks as if i placed a spot light on this male Wilson's Warbler crown, I can't claim credit for doing so; it's natural sunlight. But the spot light on the male's head does high light the mark of the species, which is that black cap!
