Tufted Titmouse
The Tufted Titmouse is found in the eastern half of the United States. Nothing too strange about that. What is strange is their desire to crowd together in hollow trees and even logs. At times, too many birds will crowd together in such a cavity, which has resulted in suffocation!

This is the only time these two Tufted Titmouse birds looked around while they rolled about the lawn. Otherwise they weren't interested in anything but duking it out!
