Northern Cardinal
The Northern Cardinal is found throughout the eastern half of the United States, the southeastern portions of Canada, and the eastern half of Mexico. Nowhere in that wide range is this bird unknown. It's bright color, and attractive song, once meant a life spent caged. Thankfully, in this more enlightened day, we no longer cage these wonderful additions to our native world. Now any of us can watch this beautiful bird as it moves freely throughout it's range. All you have to do is get out there!
