It's hard not to notice the Eastern Blue Jay! These large, noisy, and very territorial, birds are always spoiling for a fight! It doesn't matter what it is, if it's in a pair's territory, and they don't like it, everyone is going to hear about it! It's all these characteristics that endear these birds to me. The eastern woods of North America would not be the same without their active scolding of everyone and everything!
