Common Grackle
The Common Grackle is less common than it was just a few short years ago. North America now has but 73 million birds today, compared to the heyday count of 190 million! Some, especially farmers and city dwellers, think that is plenty, thank you very much! But a question begs to be answered, and that question is "why the drop in numbers"? This species gets along with humans very well. Why are the numbers dropping? Answers are needed.
