Bewick's Wren used to be a common bird of the eastern United States, until the House Wren came along. House Wrens proved to be too aggressive for the Bewick's. Today the Bewick's Wren is a bird of the mid-west and the southwestern United States. There it continues to delight all who come in contact with it.
