Wood Stork
The Wood Stork is a large wading bird of the southeastern United States, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. This subtropical/tropical species nests in but four of the U.S. states. They are; Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. It is the only stork which currently nests in the United States. I photographed these birds in Florida.
