The Glossy Ibis is the most widespread Ibis species, breeding in scattered sites across the warm regions of Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and the Atlantic and Caribbean region of the Americas. As you may have already guessed, the Glossy Ibis is a very nomadic species.

on October 4, 2022The Glossy Ibis looks extremely similar to the White-faced Ibis. Thankfully the Glossy lives on the eastern seaboard of the U.S., while the White-faced prefers the western United States, otherwise I would always be second guessing myself.
