Black Brandt differ little from Brandt; the main difference being a darker underside. Black Brandt breed in Alaska, northwestern Canada, and Siberia, then winter on the Pacific Coast where they feed on Eelgrass and Sea Lettuce. These small Mallard-sized Geese are entirely marine (meaning they rarely stray inland).
